Just a thought.........

It's not the amount of breaths you take in your life, it's about the moments that take your breath away

Here is my blog, it's all about the people I love, my life and my addiction to making and trading Mini Scrap Books for my family and friends old and new.

Thank you for stopping by, look forward to seeing you back here soon.

LOVE - 05-02-2010

Martin and I went out for dinner (Italian) and a movie (Sherlock Holms). Both the restaurant and cinema are just a 10 minute walk away, so we left the car at home and strolled over. It was cold, but that did not matter.

Over the second glass of wine I shared with Martin my feelings of extreme low mood of being on the ‘scrap’ (not the one I would rather) heap as a result of still being out of work and not having any money.

He smiled at me and said “don’t worry this is just a blip on the radar, you will be going back to work soon enough, so until then enjoy the free time you have”, “go out and have coffee with Kelsey, get the house how you want it, invite your Mum and Nan over for lunch” “enjoy being an important part of our grandchildren’s lives”, “enjoy your hobbies!!!!, because believe me when you are working, and you dont have much free time, you will look back at this time and think, why did I not do my own thing more!!!”

So for that Martin ‘I thank you’, for putting things into perspective and more importantly, loving and supporting me.

So all in all it was a lovely evening.

LIFE - 04-02-2010

Having been out of work now for around 8 months, I was cheered to get a call from one of the many agencies I am registered with.

After a 35 minute drive from Milton Keynes to Leighton Buzzard (boy is my Satellite Navigation out of date!!) I had a short interview with Catherine and Laura, who at the end of proceedings, imparted the nugget of information that the assignment would only be 2 or 3 weeks. What a waste of time that was.

AJ goes back to the drawing board!!!!!!!!
